Southborough Rose

Southborough Rose combines warm rose-brown, creamy white and soft taupe in a tightly repeated vertical geometric weave. The alternating pointed forms create a rhythmic surface, while the darker brown threads give the colourway noticeable depth.

About this fabric

At 520gsm, this is a substantial woven textile suited to upholstery, with a useable width of 133.8cm. Its pattern is formed from closely packed, elongated diamond and zigzag shapes arranged in vertical columns, rather than a flat printed graphic. Cream highlights sharpen the warm brown ground, while subtle tonal variation across the weave keeps the rose-brown shade from appearing uniform. The pattern repeat measures 15.4cm vertically by 6.7cm horizontally, giving the design a clear medium-scale rhythm across a chair, bench or sofa.

How to use it

Pair Southborough Rose with softly aged wood, warm ivory and muted terracotta for an inviting scheme, or use it on a compact occasional chair where its vertical brown-and-cream rhythm can be appreciated up close.

Use this dense rose-brown and cream geometric weave to bring structured warmth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
