About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke fabric weighs 517gsm, and the substantial woven handle makes it well suited to upholstery. The espresso-brown ground shifts softly towards taupe and plum across the surface, while the fine vertical and horizontal threads add restrained texture. With a 139cm usable width and a 40m standard length, it is supplied for larger furnishing projects as well as individual upholstery pieces. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0cm, reflecting the continuous plain-woven construction visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Pair Albany Espresso with warm timber, aged leather and softly weathered metals, or use it on a structured chair where its muted brown-plum depth can read as quietly sophisticated.

Use this deep espresso-brown weave to bring quiet warmth and visual depth to tailored upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
