About this fabric

At 517gsm, this is a substantial woven cloth with the visual presence expected of upholstery fabric. The cool purple base is softened by brownish and dusty mauve threads, creating a restrained heather tone that changes subtly as the light catches the crosswoven texture. With a usable width of 139cm and a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it offers a clean, uninterrupted surface for upholstered forms. The standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use Albany Heather on a buttoned armchair, headboard or sofa where its dusty mauve tone can bring colour without becoming bright. Pair it with warm timber, aged metal and soft taupe or plum accents to draw out the weave’s subdued depth.

A substantial mauve-purple woven cloth with subtle crosshatch texture, well suited to upholstered seating and panels.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
