About this fabric

Woven in 70% cotton and 30% linen, this Ashley Wilde fabric has the relaxed handle and fine slub of a natural fibre blend, with a visible crosshatched texture that keeps the surface from looking flat. The 142 cm width and 340 gsm weight make it a useful mid-weight cloth for light domestic upholstery as well as drapes and blinds, while the 18,000 rub test confirms practical everyday performance. Loire Mauve itself is a muted mauve-grey with a cool, powdery softness, so it catches the light gently and sits closer to a refined neutral than a bright pastel. Made in India, it has the understated look of a plain that can soften a scheme without drawing too much attention.
