About this fabric

Woven in India from 70% cotton and 30% linen, Loire Mineral has the tactile, lightly slubbed feel you can see in the fine plain weave. The colour reads as a very soft mineral mint, with enough grey in the tone to keep it muted and easy to live with. At 142cm wide and with an 18,000 rub test, it is suited to light domestic upholstery as well as drapes and blinds, making it a versatile mid-weight textile. The 340gsm weight gives the cloth a substantial handle without losing the relaxed character visible in the swatch. Its plain style and cool pastel depth make it especially effective where a gentle, contemporary finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use this shade on a slim sofa, occasional chair or tailored blind to bring a fresh, lightly coastal feel to a room. It pairs well with oak, chalk white and brushed nickel, where the muted mint tone can stay soft and luminous.
