Florenzo Emerald

Tuscany Book Collection FabricFLORENZO

Florenzo Emerald is a richly toned plain fabric with a deep jewel-green appearance and a softly mottled, linen-like surface. Its colour reads cool and grounded, with a subtle depth that gives the cloth a refined but usable character.

About this fabric

Part of Ashley Wilde’s Tuscany Book Collection, Florenzo Emerald is woven from 54% polyester, 36% viscose and 10% linen, with a robust 40,000 rub test and a 140cm width. The cloth has a fine, gently slubbed texture that softens the solid emerald tone and catches the light with a low, matte finish. It is supplied for severe contract upholstery and drapes, and its 490gsm handle gives it the substance expected of a hard-working decorative plain. Made in Belgium, this colourway sits between forest and peacock green, with a slightly muted depth rather than a bright, glossy sheen.

How to use it

Use Florenzo Emerald on an upholstered chair or bench where you want a strong colour without pattern. It works especially well with walnut timber, aged brass, charcoal accents and natural linens.

Pair with warm oak, brass and textured neutrals to let the jewel-toned depth stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
