Florenzo Ebony

Tuscany Book Collection FabricFLORENZO

Florenzo Ebony is a deep, near-black plain with a subtle linen-like texture that reads dark and quietly sophisticated in the light. Its surface has a soft, matte depth rather than a glossy finish.

About this fabric

This Ebony colourway is an almost ink-black tone, with only the faintest suggestion of tonal variation across the weave, giving it a refined and modern look. The visible texture is understated and slightly slubbed, which suits the fabric’s 54% Polyester, 36% Viscose and 10% Linen composition. Supplied for severe contract upholstery and drapes, it has a 40000 rub test, a 140cm width, and a substantial 490 grams per linear metre (350gsm) handle. Woven in Belgium, it feels like a dependable plain with enough visual interest to hold a room without drawing attention away from other finishes.

How to use it

Use this ebony shade on streamlined seating, dining chairs, or curtain panels where you want a strong contrast against stone, oak or pale walls. The dark, restrained finish also works well in moody interiors with brass, leather or walnut.

A sleek, near-black plain that works beautifully as a tailored upholstery or elegant drape.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
