About this fabric

Summerseat Noir is a 100% polyester fabric with a 145cm width and a pattern repeat of 39.2cm vertically by 35.5cm horizontally. The design shows small, closely packed floral sprays in antique gold, oatmeal and taupe, set against a deep black background that makes the motif stand out clearly. The overall effect is warm rather than stark, with the metallic-looking gold tones adding depth and a slightly luxurious feel. Its woven appearance and close patterning suit statement upholstery where the repeat can be shown off well.

How to use it

Use Summerseat Noir on a chair, ottoman or occasional sofa to bring contrast into a room with timber, brass or painted finishes. The black ground helps the gold florals read boldly, so it works especially well in formal sitting rooms and dramatic hallway pieces.
