About this fabric

Woven in 95% polyester and 5% lurex, Zonda Onyx has enough body to suit upholstery and brings a firm, practical handle to the design. The surface reads as deep black with scattered warm gold-beige flecks, creating a worn, almost brushed texture rather than a flat solid colour. Its 34cm vertical and 35.5cm horizontal pattern repeat gives the surface a regular, graphic rhythm that shows up clearly across larger pieces. At 140cm wide, it is well suited to statement chairs, cushions, and tailored soft furnishings where the low-sheen metallic detail can catch the light.

How to use it

Pair this onyx colourway with walnut, smoked oak, brass, and textured neutrals to keep the scheme rich and grounded. It works especially well in a room with dimmer lighting, where the lurex flecks add depth without overpowering the space.

Use where you want a dark, dramatic base with a subtle metallic lift.
