Porter & Stone

Zonda Copper

Misc Fabric

Zonda Copper has a dark, almost charcoal-brown ground lifted by fine copper highlights that sit across the surface like woven brush marks. The overall effect is textural and moody, with a soft metallic glint rather than a bright shine.

About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is made from 95% polyester and 5% lurex, with a width of 140cm and a pattern repeat of 34cm vertically and 35.5cm horizontally. The surface reads as a dense, crosshatched abstract weave, where warm copper threads flicker through the deep brown base. That contrast gives the cloth depth and a slightly weathered look, while the lurex adds a restrained shimmer when it catches the light. It feels smart and grounded rather than flashy, making the colourway especially effective where a richer, darker tone is wanted.

How to use it

Use Zonda Copper on a statement chair, banquette or sofa to bring warmth to darker woods and bronze finishes. It also works well at the window if you want the copper sheen to lift the room without brightening it too much.

The dark ground and copper flecking give this fabric a refined, upholstered feel with enough movement for drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
