About this fabric

This Porter & Stone velvet is made from 100% polyester and comes 140cm wide, with a 0cm pattern repeat for a completely plain finish. The swatch reads as a warm mushroom brown, softened by taupe and umber tones rather than a flat chocolate shade. Its dense velvet pile shows subtle movement in the light, giving the surface a gently clouded, tactile look. With no performance finish noted, it suits decorative schemes where texture and tone are the focus.

How to use it

Use this shade on an armchair, ottoman or tailored cushions where its muted brown warmth can add depth without feeling heavy. It pairs neatly with oat, putty and aged brass for a calm, layered room.
