About this fabric

Porter & Stone’s Velvet Emerald from the Plains & Semi Plains collection is a 100% polyester velvet with a plain, unpatterned surface and no repeat, making the focus entirely on colour and pile. The 140cm width gives useful coverage for upholstery projects, and the NQT1 care instruction should be checked before specifying. Visually, this colourway sits between green and blue, with a saturated emerald core and inky shaded areas that add depth. The velvet pile softens the overall look and gives the fabric a polished, light-catching finish rather than a flat tone.

How to use it

Use this shade on an occasional chair, banquette or headboard where its dark teal depth can anchor the room. It pairs especially well with warm brass, walnut and pale stone finishes that lift the richness of the pile.
