About this fabric

This colourway reads as a dark, saturated purple with near-black shadows and lighter wine-toned highlights where the pile shifts. The plush velvet texture is clearly visible in the image, creating a soft, tactile finish rather than a flat solid. It is woven in 100% polyester and supplied at 140cm wide, with a 0cm pattern repeat for straightforward cutting and matching. The overall effect is luxurious and dramatic, with the depth of the grape shade making it feel richer and more restrained than a brighter plum.

How to use it

Use this shade on an accent chair, ottoman or headboard where the velvet can show off its directional sheen. It also works well with warm metals, dark wood and pale neutrals to balance the richness of the purple.
