About this fabric
This Porter & Stone fabric is 140cm wide and composed of 93% polyester and 7% lurex, giving the surface a subtle shimmer against the matte ground. The large geometric repeat, measuring 35.5cm vertically and 12cm horizontally, creates a stepped, angular rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway the purple tone is deep and inky, leaning toward amethyst-plum rather than a bright violet, with the lurex catching the light as a fine bronze-gold sparkle. The overall effect is smart and dramatic, with enough texture and depth to give upholstered pieces a tailored, evening feel.
How to use it
Use it on a statement chair, ottoman or dining seat to let the angular motif show clearly. It works especially well with dark timber and muted metallic accents, where the plum ground can feel richer and more atmospheric.
