About this fabric

This Alaska Collection fabric by Ashley Wilde is made from 100% polyester and specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 severe contract rub test. At 146cm wide and 300gsm, it has a substantial feel that suits both seating and window dressings. In this colourway, the aubergine tone is cool-leaning and richly shaded, sitting between purple and wine with a velvety visual depth. The plain construction keeps the focus on the colour itself, while the surface catches light just enough to soften the darkest areas.

How to use it

Use Alaska Aubergine to add a dramatic anchor to neutral interiors, especially against warm greys, taupes or pale stone. It works particularly well where a saturated purple-brown note is wanted without pattern competing for attention.

A rich aubergine plain that brings depth to tailored upholstery or confident drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
