Furley Orchid

Essential Weaves Vol 2 FabricEWV2FURLEY

Furley Orchid is a softly textured weave in a muted orchid-mauve shade, with a fine dotted surface that reads quietly tonal rather than bold. The close-up pattern gives the cloth a gentle grain and a smart, understated finish.

About this fabric

Part of Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 2 collection, Furley Orchid is woven from 100% polyester and designed for light domestic upholstery and drapes. The fabric has a width of 140 cm and an 18,000 light domestic rub test, making it suitable for everyday decorative use where a neat, tailored look is wanted. Visually, this colourway sits in a pale mauve-lilac range with a cool, dusty softness, and the tiny textured repeat catches the light just enough to add depth without strong contrast. Its small-scale surface and restrained tone make it feel calm and versatile rather than ornate.

How to use it

Use Furley Orchid on slim chairs, bed bases or Roman blinds where its soft orchid tint can lift a room without overwhelming it. It pairs especially well with chalk whites, pale oak and other muted pastels.

A refined mauve weave that works neatly across upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
