About this fabric

This Ashley Wilde fabric from the Lunar Book Collection is a plain weave in 54% polyester and 46% cotton, with a severe contract upholstery and drapes use rating and a 50,000 rub test result. The swatch shows a soft lilac-purple with a muted, powdery cast, so the colour feels cool, restrained and slightly silvery in the light. Its surface has a subtle woven texture rather than a flat printed look, giving the shade a gentle movement across the cloth. At 140cm wide and 340gsm, it has the substance to sit comfortably on seating while still working neatly for drapes.

How to use it

Use Lunar Violet where you want colour without heaviness: it would soften a contemporary armchair, banquette or headboard, and also makes elegant curtains in a pale scheme. Pair its cool lilac tone with chalk white, pale oak or smoky grey for a composed finish.
