Lunar Paprika

Lunar Book Collection FabricLUNAR

Lunar Paprika is a warm paprika-orange plain with a soft, matte handle and a gently slubbed surface visible across the swatch. The colour sits between terracotta and burnt coral, giving it a sun-warmed richness rather than a bright, acidic orange.

About this fabric

This Ashley Wilde fabric from the Lunar Book Collection is woven in 54% polyester and 46% cotton, with a 140cm width and a 50,000 severe contract rub test, making it suitable for demanding upholstery and drapes. The cloth has a subtle horizontal texture that reads as calm and tailored rather than highly decorative, with fine tonal variation that softens the colour. In this colourway, the paprika shade feels earthy and slightly muted, so it catches the light with a mellow glow instead of a glossy shine. The result is a versatile plain that brings depth and warmth without overpowering a room.

How to use it

Use Lunar Paprika on an upholstered chair, banquette or headboard to bring a grounded burst of colour. It also works well as drapery in rooms with timber, olive, cream or deep brown accents, where the warm orange tone will feel inviting rather than harsh.

A rich paprika tone that adds warmth to both tailored upholstery and soft, textured drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
