Moreton Coral

Essential Weaves Vol 2 FabricEWV2MORETON

Moreton Coral is a warm, softly muted coral with a fine geometric texture that reads neatly across the surface. The small-scale pattern gives the cloth a tailored, lightly structured look.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and specified for drapes only, Moreton Coral has a useful body without looking heavy. The fabric is 140cm wide and has a substantial weight of 462 grams per linear metre, with a 330 grams per square metre cloth density. Its tiny geometric abstract pattern sits close to the surface, so the coral tone appears smooth and even from a distance, then gains depth as the light catches the weave. The overall effect is a gentle terracotta-coral shade with a smart, contemporary finish rather than a bright or sugary pink.

How to use it

Use this shade for relaxed but refined curtains where a warm coral note is wanted without overpowering the room. It works especially well with pale neutrals, walnut woods, and matte brass, letting the small geometric texture add interest close-up.

A warm coral weave that brings subtle texture and a polished, contemporary finish to windows.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Moreton Coral without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
