Lanark Willow

Essential Weaves Vol 2 FabricEWV2LANARK

Lanark Willow is a softly textured, pale ivory colourway with a subtle geometric lattice that reads clean and understated in the light. The fine woven surface gives it a gentle, tailored look rather than a flat plain.

About this fabric

From the Essential Weaves Vol 2 collection by Ashley Wilde, Lanark Willow is a 100% polyester fabric designed for drapes only. It has a small-scale geometric/abstract pattern with a 4cm vertical and 4cm horizontal repeat, creating a neat, regular lattice across the cloth. The colourway is a muted willow-ivory tone: warm enough to feel inviting, but light and airy rather than creamy or saturated. With a width of 140cm and a substantial 357 grams per linear metre, it has enough body to hang neatly while still showing the delicate texture visible in the weave. Originating from India, it is a refined choice where a quiet pattern and soft neutral colour are needed.

How to use it

Use Lanark Willow in a room that needs softness and structure at once, such as relaxed formal living spaces, pale bedrooms or elegant dining rooms. Its fresh ivory tone sits particularly well with oak, stone, and other natural finishes.

A pale, versatile drape fabric that adds quiet texture without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
