Foxley Champagne

Essential Weaves Vol 3 FabricEWV3FOXLEY

Foxley Champagne is a pale, luminous damask with a soft woven sheen and an airy, almost frosted finish. The repeating leaf-form motif sits quietly against the ground, giving the fabric a refined but understated presence.

About this fabric

Woven in India from 68% Recycle Polyester, 26% Cotton and 6% Polyester, Foxley Champagne is a drapery-only fabric with a substantial 315gsm handle and a 140cm width. The damask repeat measures 32cm vertically and 23.5cm horizontally, and in this colourway the motif reads as a gentle champagne cream rather than a strong gold, so the contrast stays low and elegant. The surface has a fine textured grain that catches the light softly, making the pattern visible without feeling heavy. It is well suited to curtains that need a decorative look with a calm, softened finish.

How to use it

Pair this warm champagne tone with pale timber, stone, and boucle for a serene scheme, or use it to soften sharper architectural lines in a formal sitting room. The restrained colour works especially well where you want pattern, but only just.

Use to add a quiet, elegant sheen to light-filled rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
