Lunar Ecru is a softly toned plain fabric with a gentle ecru cast and a fine, understated surface. The weave reads quietly textured rather than flat, giving the cloth a relaxed but refined look.

About this fabric

Woven in 54% polyester and 46% cotton, Lunar Ecru is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 50,000 rub test and a 140cm width. Visually, the colour sits in a warm-leaning ecru cream that feels lighter than beige and less stark than white, with a subdued chalky finish. The plain style and subtle woven grain give it a soft, linen-like impression without looking rustic. At 459 grams per linear metre and 340 grams per square metre, it has the substance expected of a versatile contract fabric while still reading light and airy in this colourway.

How to use it

Use Lunar Ecru where you want a pale, easy backdrop that softens darker woods and sharper lines. Its muted cream tone suits relaxed contemporary seating, tailored curtains, and layered neutral schemes.

A calm ecru plain that brings a clean, tailored softness to both upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
