About this fabric

Part of Ashley Wilde’s Lunar Book Collection, Lunar Buttercup is composed of 54% polyester and 46% cotton, and is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes. The swatch shows a mellow buttercup yellow with a slightly greenish undertone, softened by the woven texture so it feels more muted than bright. Its plain surface has fine crosswise slubbing that catches the light subtly, adding depth without any pattern. With a 50,000 severe contract rub test, a 140 cm width, and a substantial 340 gsm weight, it is a practical mid-to-heavy weight cloth for projects that need both character and durability.

How to use it

Use this shade where you want warmth without heaviness: it works beautifully on a tailored armchair, banquette, or full-length curtains. Pair it with timber, chalk white, or muted olive for a room that feels fresh but grounded.
