Lanark Sunflower

Essential Weaves Vol 2 FabricEWV2LANARK

Lanark Sunflower shows a crisp small-scale geometric pattern over a warm golden yellow ground. The fine white outline gives the colourway a light, lifted finish rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

Part of Essential Weaves Vol 2 by Ashley Wilde, Lanark Sunflower is a 100% polyester fabric designed for drapes only. The small geometric / abstract motif repeats every 4cm vertically and horizontally, creating a neat, regular surface that reads clearly from close range. In this colourway the yellow is bright and sunlit, softened by a slightly warm tone that keeps it from feeling harsh. The woven texture and 140cm width make it a practical choice for made-to-measure curtains and blinds where a clean, patterned finish is wanted.

How to use it

This sunflower yellow works well in rooms that need warmth and a cheerful lift, especially against white paintwork, pale timber or soft grey upholstery. It also brings a sharper, more contemporary edge when paired with charcoal or deep navy accents.

Use it for bright, tailored curtains that add warmth without overpowering the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
