About this fabric

This colourway has a warm, buttery yellow tone with a quiet, matte-lustre finish that lifts the weave without looking shiny. The plain style and 0cm horizontal repeat keep the surface clean and uninterrupted, while the subtle striated texture visible in the cloth adds a little movement. Woven in India from 90% recycled polyester and 10% polyester, it has a practical 140cm width and a reassuring 200gsm weight. At 280 grams per linear metre, it is best suited to drapes only, giving curtains a smooth, softly structured hang.

How to use it

Use Austen Sunflower where you want light to feel warmer, especially in rooms with pale wood, cream paint or natural linen textures. Its sunny but muted yellow works well as a gentle highlight rather than a strong statement.

A warm, sunny plain that brings an easy glow to curtains without feeling harsh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
