About this fabric

Camley Zest from Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 2 is a 100% polyester fabric made for drapes only, with a width of 140cm and a substantial 329 grams per linear metre (235 gsm). The design is a small-scale geometric abstract with stripe-and-check influences, set here in a soft zest-yellow line that feels brighter than a neutral but still restrained. On the pale background, the pattern has a crisp, regular rhythm and the colour catches the light with a clean, sunny edge rather than a bold saturated tone. With no rub test noted and a manufacture origin of India, it presents as a decorative window textile rather than an upholstery cloth.

How to use it

Use this colourway to lift linen blinds, relaxed curtains or a breakfast-room valance where its pale yellow outline can warm the scheme without overpowering it. It works especially well with oak, chalk white and muted stone finishes.

Pairs neatly with warm neutrals when you want a crisp, lightly patterned window treatment.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
