About this fabric

The creamy ground gives this colourway a light, airy base, while the honey and ochre motifs add a gentle golden warmth rather than a strong saturated yellow. Its small radiating motifs sit in orderly vertical lines, creating a quietly graphic pattern with a subtle botanical impression. At 385gsm and 127cm usable width, the fabric has a substantial woven presence suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The 3.4cm vertical repeat and 2cm horizontal repeat maintain the close-set rhythm, while the listed 37 threads per cm reflects its finely constructed surface.

How to use it

Use Silene Honey/First Light/Ochre to bring soft golden warmth into a cream, ivory or pale timber scheme, where its small-scale vertical pattern can add detail without visual heaviness. It would work particularly well on a tailored chair, bench or relaxed curtain treatment.

Pair the warm honey-ochre motif with creamy neutrals, pale timber and softly tailored upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
