Osamu Mustard

Colour 2 Fabrics FabricHAF0061-06

Osamu Mustard brings together a warm, muted mustard tone and charcoal-grey shading in a tightly textured linear weave. Its irregular grid has a softly weathered, tactile appearance rather than a decorative floral motif.

About this fabric

The surface is built from fine mustard and darker grey lines crossing in uneven vertical and horizontal bands, creating subtle depth as the light moves across the cloth. At 650 gsm and 45 threads per cm, this is a dense, substantial textile with the visual weight suited to upholstery. The 140 cm usable width supports practical cutting, while the 16.5 cm vertical and 1.7 cm horizontal pattern repeats keep the linear design controlled across a piece. The standard length is 30 m.

How to use it

Use Osamu Mustard on a structured armchair, dining seat or headboard where its warm yellow tone can act as the room’s accent, then balance it with charcoal, taupe or natural wood. Its fine irregular grid works especially well with plain cushions and simple, tailored silhouettes.

A substantial mustard-and-grey woven texture for tailored upholstery with graphic depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
