About this fabric

This warm buttermilk colourway has a restrained, creamy-yellow depth rather than a bright or saturated yellow, with light catching softly across its finely woven surface. At 198 gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both drapery and upholstery applications. The generous 308 cm usable width is well suited to broad curtain drops, while the 48.5 threads-per-centimetre construction gives the cloth a neat, closely woven appearance. With a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it presents as a continuous plain field without a recurring motif.

How to use it

Use Buttermilk to bring a gentle wash of warm light to full-length curtains, where its wide width can minimise joins. It also works on occasional upholstery when paired with chalky whites, pale timber and other quiet natural tones.

Its soft buttermilk tone and fine, even weave suit full-height curtains as well as lightly used upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
