About this fabric

Part of Jane Churchill’s Camber Stripes collection, this fabric is woven in an 80% cotton, 20% polyester blend with a width of approximately 142cm. The stripe repeat is very restrained at around 1cm horizontally and 0cm vertically, giving the design its tightly paced, tailored rhythm. In this colourway, the yellow reads as gentle and sunlit rather than bright, sitting softly against the pale ground and creating a clean, airy surface. The overall handle and appearance suggest a versatile fabric that can work across cushions, upholstery pieces and relaxed window treatments, depending on the make-up of the scheme.

How to use it

Use it to add a quiet wash of colour to a cream, oak or painted-wood interior, where the fine yellow stripes can lift the room without dominating it. It pairs especially well with chalk whites, soft greys and warm natural textures for a calm, tailored finish.
