Alie Sunflower

Essential Weaves Vol 2 FabricEWV2ALIE

Alie Sunflower is a warm, woven yellow with a soft matt surface and a fine diagonal texture. The colour reads as a насыщенный sunflower tone rather than a pale gold, giving it a lively but grounded presence.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a rich sunflower yellow with a gentle golden cast, and the weave has a subtle crosshatch that catches the light without appearing shiny. It is a drapes-only fabric, made from 78% Polyester and 22% Cotton, with a substantial 360 grams per linear metre and a 257 grams per square metre weight. The small-scale texture and 2cm vertical repeat / 1cm horizontal repeat support its crisp, tailored look while keeping the surface visually calm. With no rub test results noted, it is best considered for curtains and decorative window treatments rather than upholstery. The 140cm width also makes it practical for made-to-measure drapery in this vivid, warm shade.

How to use it

Use it to bring warmth to pale walls, natural timber and muted neutrals, where the sunflower tone can act as the room’s brightest note. It also works well in spaces that need a lift, adding cheerful colour without the gloss of a brighter satin.

A bright, woven yellow that lifts a room without feeling harsh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
