Alie Indigo is a deep, cool blue fabric with a fine woven texture and a calm, understated finish. Its tightly worked surface gives the colour a quiet depth rather than a flat solid look.

About this fabric

Woven in 78% polyester and 22% cotton, Alie Indigo is specified for drapes only and has a substantial 257gsm handle at 140cm wide. The swatch reads as a muted indigo blue with a slight grey cast, so the colour feels tailored and grounded rather than bright. A small-scale weave gives the surface a subtle grain that catches the light softly across the face of the cloth. With no rub test noted, it is best considered for curtains, blinds and other decorative window treatments rather than seating.

How to use it

Use this indigo in rooms that need a smarter, more composed window treatment, especially against pale plaster, warm oak or chalky neutrals. It will add depth without overpowering a scheme, and the textured weave keeps the colour feeling refined.

A cool, understated indigo that gives curtains a tailored, quietly textural finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
