Bronte Mineral is a soft, pale blue plain with a cool, airy finish and a fine woven texture. The understated surface gives it a quiet, lightly weathered look that feels fresh rather than bright.

About this fabric

From the Darwin Collection by Ashley Wilde, Bronte Mineral is a drapes-only fabric woven in India with a 140cm width and a substantial 448 gsm weight. The cloth is made from 68% recycled polyester and 32% polyester, and its plain weave shows a subtle linen-like crosshatch in the surface. In this colourway, the tone is a very light mineral blue with a misty, slightly silver cast that keeps the overall effect calm and clean. The 0 horizontal pattern repeat reinforces its simple, uninterrupted appearance, making the texture and colour the main features.

How to use it

Use Bronte Mineral for relaxed curtains in rooms that need a cool, light-reflective finish. Its pale blue tone works especially well with white, soft grey and pale timber interiors.

Its cool, airy blue reads softly and suits calm, contemporary window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
