Bronte Olive

Darwin Collection FabricBRONTE

Bronte Olive is a quiet, muted olive with a gentle sage cast and a dry, linen-like surface. The plain weave gives it a subtle crosshatched texture that keeps the colour feeling natural rather than flat.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a soft olive-green with grey undertones, so it feels grounded and relaxed rather than bright or grassy. The visible weave is fine and lightly textural, with small variations in the threads that catch the light softly across the surface. Supplied as drapes only, it is composed of 68% recycled polyester and 32% polyester, with a 140cm width and a substantial 320gsm weight. With no repeat and a plain style, it is ideal where the focus should stay on tone, drape and texture rather than pattern.

How to use it

Use this shade for tailored curtains, Roman blinds or full-length drapes in rooms with oak, putty or stone finishes. Its muted olive tone works especially well in calm, nature-led schemes that need colour without contrast.

A soft, understated olive that brings a calm, earthy finish to windows and layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
