About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Alaska Fern is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 severe contract rub test and a 146cm width. The swatch shows a restrained fern-olive tone with a slightly dusty, mossy cast rather than a bright green, so it reads natural and composed. Its surface has a fine, even texture that catches the light gently instead of showing strong sheen. At 438g per linear metre and 300g per square metre, it has the substance expected of a hardworking plain while still remaining suitable for made-to-measure drapery. Made in China, it is a practical choice for schemes that need colour without visual noise.

How to use it

Use this olive shade on upholstered dining chairs, banquettes, or contract seating where a smart, understated colour is needed. It also works well for curtains or blinds paired with warm timber, chalky neutrals, and aged brass.

A versatile olive with a quiet, tailored feel for coordinated schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
