About this fabric
This Ashley Wilde fabric is made from 100% polyester and is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 severe contract rub test. At 146cm wide and 438gsm, it has enough substance to suit seating while still working neatly at the window. In this colourway, the grey sits in a muted mid-tone range with a warm undertone, so it looks softer than a cool steel grey and less brown than a true taupe. The surface appears smooth and tightly woven, with a subtle depth that catches the light without any obvious sheen.
How to use it
Use Alaska Grey on tailored sofas, banquettes or panelled curtains where you want a smart neutral that won’t dominate the room. Its softened grey tone pairs well with black accents, pale oak, stone and muted blue-greens.
