Alaska Fog

Alaska Collection FabricALASKA

Alaska Fog is a smooth plain in a cool misty grey, shown here with a soft matte look and barely-there tonal movement. Its quiet, low-contrast finish gives the colourway a calm, contemporary feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Alaska Fog is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 severe contract rub test and a practical 146cm width. The swatch reads as a muted, stone-leaning grey with a faint clouded softness rather than a sharp silver cast. Its surface looks even and restrained, with just enough depth in the weave to keep the plain from appearing flat. At 438 grams per linear metre and 300 grams per square metre, it has the reassuring substance expected of a hard-working contract textile.

How to use it

Use Alaska Fog on tailored seating, banquettes, or wall-to-floor curtains where a clean grey backdrop is needed without visual heaviness. It pairs especially well with pale oak, black metalwork, and chalky neutrals for a crisp, balanced scheme.

A cool, understated grey that works neatly across tailored upholstery and clean drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
