Bronte Otter

Darwin Collection FabricBRONTE

Bronte Otter is a subdued olive plain with a warm brown cast, giving the swatch a softly earthy, cloth-like look. The fine woven texture reads calm and practical rather than shiny or decorative.

About this fabric

This plain fabric is composed of 68% Recycled Polyester and 32% Polyester, and it is specified for drapes only. At 140cm wide and 320gsm, it has enough substance to hang with presence while still reading as a soft, pliable curtain cloth. The surface shows a tight, crosshatched weave that catches the light in a restrained way, bringing out the brown-olive depth of the colourway. With a horizontal pattern repeat of 0, the design relies entirely on texture and tone rather than motif.

How to use it

Use Bronte Otter for full-length curtains or relaxed interlined panels where a muted olive ground can steady warmer woods and leather. Its low-key brown-green shade works especially well in schemes with linen, oak and aged brass.

A grounded olive tone that brings quiet depth to tailored drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
