Chester Olive

About this fabric

This colourway in the Chester collection reads as a muted olive green with a beige linen-ground feel, so the animal motif sits close to the surface rather than shouting from it. The 145cm approximate width and 44% viscose, 36% linen, 16% polyester, 3% cotton and 1% polyacrylic composition suggest a fabric with a natural handle but enough structure for upholstery. The repeat is approximately V 36cm / H 35cm, creating a balanced spotted layout that feels regular from a distance and more intricate up close. Q 8 + T 3 care coding and √BM fire code are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Chester Olive on a pair of armchairs, a ottoman or a tailored headboard where its olive tone can read as a sophisticated neutral. It works especially well with oak, aged brass and warm stone shades.

A subtle olive leopard spot that adds texture and depth without overpowering a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
