About this fabric

This colourway has a mellow antique-gold tone with beige undertones, so the pattern feels restrained rather than bold. The small-scale repeat, at approximately V 36cm / H 35cm, creates a close, all-over effect that works well when you want movement without a large motif. With a composition of 44% viscose, 36% linen, 16% polyester, 3% cotton and 1% polyacrylic, it has the feel of a woven decorative fabric rather than a flat print. At approximately 145cm wide and with no performance features noted, it is best treated as a classic furnishing textile; care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for reference.

How to use it

Use Chester Gold on a chair, banquette or headboard where the warm gold ground can lift timber, travertine or deep brown finishes. It also works neatly with olive, tobacco and cream schemes, where the small pattern adds texture rather than visual noise.
