About this fabric

This Denbury fabric is woven in a compact repeating motif that reads like tiny linked lozenges across the surface, with the gold yarns sitting softly against the lighter background. The colour is a restrained, sun-warmed gold rather than brassy yellow, so it feels gentle and luminous in daylight. With a width of approximately 144cm and a repeat of V 4cm / H 3cm approx, it is practical for patterned applications where the small-scale design can be carried cleanly across a room. Its composition of 45% viscose, 22% linen, 20% cotton and 13% polyester suggests a cloth with both softness and body, suited to versatile interior use. The overall finish looks smart and polished, with enough texture to keep the surface from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use Radnor Gold to bring a quiet glow to upholstered dining chairs, cushions or loose covers, especially in rooms with oak, parchment or chalky paintwork. It also makes an elegant curtain fabric where the small geometric pattern can add interest without overwhelming a calm scheme.

A refined small-scale gold weave that suits tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Radnor Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
