Tilney Stripe Beige

Denbury FabricF4864-08

Tilney Stripe Beige shows a neat vertical stripe with a soft woven texture and a gentle tonal contrast between the ground and the patterned bands. The overall effect is warm, muted and quietly tailored rather than bold.

About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric is a 142cm-wide textile in a 54% Cotton, 18% Acrylic, 16% Viscose, 6% Linen, 3% Polyamide and 3% Polyester blend, with an approximate vertical repeat of 8cm and horizontal repeat of 14cm. The swatch reads as a warm beige, with pale cream stripes and a slightly darker taupe-beige ground that gives the design depth without strong contrast. The woven surface has a dry, refined handle in keeping with its cotton-and-linen mix, while the stripe direction keeps the look orderly and understated. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this beige colourway for tailored curtains, bench seating or a pair of relaxed armchairs where a soft stripe can add structure without dominating the room. It sits especially well with oatmeal linens, pale oak and brushed metal finishes.

A softly tailored stripe that works neatly on upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tilney Stripe Beige without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
