About this fabric

This Dante Velvet colourway is woven in 100% cotton and measures approximately 140cm wide, with no visible repeat, making it a straightforward plain velvet to work with. The shade sits in a soft beige range with a warm, creamy undertone rather than a cooler stone note, so it reads settled and inviting. The velvet pile gives the cloth a subtle directional shimmer, adding depth across the surface without introducing pattern. With the supplied care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √CM, it is a practical decorative textile as well as a refined one.

How to use it

Use Dante Beige on an upholstered armchair, sofa or headboard where its warm neutral tone can soften sharper architectural lines. It pairs neatly with oak, linen whites and deeper browns, and the velvet finish brings enough richness for a calm, layered interior.

A quiet warm neutral that lets the velvet pile add depth without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
