About this fabric

This wallcovering is made from 100% paper and has an approximately 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat. The swatch shows a tightly scaled, woven-look grid in warm beige and sandy cream, with small tonal shifts across the surface. The restrained pattern reads as texture at close range, while the low-contrast colouring keeps the overall impression calm and even. As the Sand colourway, it brings a light, natural warmth to the wall without a pronounced decorative motif.

How to use it

Use Mecox Wallpaper Sand where a room needs a warm, quiet backdrop: it works particularly well with oat, natural linen, pale timber and softly aged finishes. The fine surface detail adds interest while the muted sand tone remains easy to layer with stronger furnishings.

Use this softly textured sand-beige wallcovering to add quiet warmth without introducing a strong repeating motif.

Pairs well with

Mecox Wallpaper Sand is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
