About this fabric

This Chester collection fabric is composed of 35% Linen, 28% Viscose, 20% Polyester and 17% Cotton, giving the surface a naturally textured but neatly finished handle. The stripe reads as a slender herringbone-like leaf motif in chalky ivory against a mellow beige background, with the contrast kept gentle rather than sharp. At approximately 145cm wide and with a repeat of V 3cm / H 5cm approx, it feels well suited to tailored furnishings where the small-scale pattern can run cleanly across a piece. The overall effect is warm, restrained and slightly classic, with enough visual detail to add depth without dominating a room.

How to use it

Use Hampden Beige on a fitted armchair, banquette or cushion scheme where its warm neutral tone can soften timber and stone. It also works beautifully at the window as a quiet stripe that sits comfortably with woven blinds, cream paint and muted upholstery.
