About this fabric

This colourway of Chester is woven in 39% viscose, 33% linen, 15% polyester, 9% cotton and 4% polyacrylic, with a width of approximately 145cm and no repeat. The cloth shows a low-key, slubby texture and a subtle ribbed grain that softens the aqua shade across the surface. Its tone feels fresh but restrained, with the linen content lending a slightly natural, chalky depth rather than a glossy finish. The fabric is suitable for both upholstery and drapery, making it a versatile choice where a clean, contemporary colour is wanted without losing textile character.

How to use it

Pair this muted aqua with pale oak, brushed nickel and off-white linens for a light, coastal-leaning room. It also works well against deeper teal or warm stone tones to keep the scheme grounded and calm.

Use it for calm, tailored schemes where the cool aqua tone adds freshness without feeling bright.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
