Canya Aqua

Canya FabricJ0295-02

Canya Aqua shows a delicate trailing floral on a soft, sandy ground, with the motif picked out in a pale aqua that reads fresh rather than bright. The overall effect is airy and quietly decorative.

About this fabric

Canya Aqua from the Jane Churchill Canya collection is a fabric with a 128cm approximate width and a generous repeat of 38cm vertical and 64cm horizontal, so the flowing floral layout has room to breathe across the cloth. The composition of 53% Polyester, 28% Linen and 19% Cotton gives the surface a gently natural look, while the weave in the image appears smooth and slightly textured rather than heavy. In this colourway, the aqua leaves and outlines sit softly against the warm neutral ground, creating a muted coastal feel instead of a strong blue-green contrast. It is a versatile textile with a relaxed character, suited to schemes that want pattern without visual weight.

How to use it

Use Canya Aqua for curtains, cushions or a tailored occasional chair where its pale green-blue note can lift a room without dominating it. It works especially well with limed oak, chalk white and faded sandy neutrals.

A pale, airy floral that brings a fresh washed colour to both curtains and light upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Canya Aqua without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
