Tamarind Forest Green

Chilgrove FabricF4889-02

Tamarind in Forest Green shows a dense botanical stripe on a pale ground, with repeated flower heads and trailing stems outlined in olive and teal. The overall effect is lively but grounded, with the darker green notes giving the design more depth than a brighter leaf print.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has the dry, natural handle and slightly nubby look you would expect from a linen decorative cloth. The repeat is substantial at V 62cm half drop and H 89cm approx, which suits the tall striped layout and the rhythm of the floral motifs seen here. In this colourway, the greens read forested and cool rather than spring-bright, with teal centres and softened khaki accents that sit neatly on the light background. The 134cm approx width makes it practical for larger furnishings, and the √BM fire code is supplied for specification purposes.

How to use it

Its cool forest-green palette works well with aged wood, stone, and muted brass, especially where you want a patterned fabric to feel refined rather than cheerful. Use it for curtains, blinds, or an upholstered accent chair to bring depth to a room with cream or warm neutral walls.

Use for curtains or statement upholstery to let the forest-green ground give the pattern depth.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tamarind Forest Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
