About this fabric
From the Chilgrove collection by Colefax and Fowler, this fabric is woven in a 70% Linen, 17% Viscose, 9% Polyester, 4% Acrylic blend with a width of approximately 128cm. The design has a large repeat of around V 77cm / H 63cm, which gives the trailing floral motifs room to open out across the cloth. In this Roseto Red/Navy colourway, the red reads rich and slightly earthy rather than bright, while the navy lines add definition and a tailored edge against the soft ivory background. The surface appears gently textured and the pattern has enough movement and detail to suit both upholstery and drapery applications. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
This colourway works well when you want pattern without losing a calm, light ground: it would lift upholstered chairs, cushions or curtains in a room with painted woodwork. Pair the deep red and navy outlines with muted blues, chalky greens or warm neutrals to echo the fabric’s layered palette.
Use for statement curtains or upholstery where the detailed floral scrolls can read clearly.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Roseto Red/Navy without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
