Perinne Red
Chester FabricF4850-01
Perinne Red shows Chester’s small geometric diamond motif in a warm, muted terracotta red. The tiny repeating pattern gives the cloth a refined, orderly look with visible texture and gentle tonal variation.

About this fabric
This colourway reads as a softened red with rust and terracotta warmth, rather than a bright or primary shade, so the pattern feels grounded and slightly aged. The surface has a woven, textural character that suits the supplied composition of 40% Linen, 38% Cotton, 18% Viscose and 4% Polyester, giving the fabric a dry, natural-looking handle with a subtle lift. The repeat is approximately V 6cm / H 7cm, which keeps the diamond motif crisp and regular across the width of around 140cm. With Q 8 + T 3 care guidance and √BM fire code noted, this is a practical decorative fabric for schemes that want colour and structure without gloss.
How to use it
Use Perinne Red on a tailored armchair, headboard or bench where the small-scale pattern can add depth without overwhelming the room. Its muted red tone sits especially well with oak, aged brass and warm neutrals, and it can also bring richness to curtains in a compact sitting room.
Works well on tailored upholstery or full-height drapery where the small diamond pattern can read clearly.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Perinne Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
